Understanding Adult Autism: What does Autism in Adults Look Like?

It’s estimated that approximately one in 70 people in Australia are on the autistic spectrum. Living with autism can impact on an individual’s outlook on, and reaction to everyday life. Their thoughts, feelings and emotions are triggered differently by people, places and things compared to a person who doesn’t sit on the autism spectrum. Each person living with this condition has a unique experience of it and autism presents differently from individual to individual.

Do I Have Adult Autism?

By its nature, autism is complex to diagnose but you can use an autism test to give you an insight into whether you may be on the autistic spectrum. The spectrum varies widely and mild autistic tendencies may not necessarily have an impact on your daily life. We have a range of online resources that you may find useful such as these articles relating to autism in adulthood

How Accurate is an Online Autism Test?

Our autism test has been designed using carefully selected questions based on information you provide about your age and gender. While the test has been comprehensively developed, results are indicative and suggestive only and should not be used as a definitive diagnosis in any circumstances. This would require further investigation by a certified practitioner.

  1. I appreciate the quiz and some of the responses are funny. I would like to note before receiving my score, this exam/survey needs to be proof-read, seriously none of these are questions and there are parts where “off course” instead of “of course” just a couple of examples. I’m wondering if it was a test to further my observational skills because it hurt to read some of the misspelled words and grammatical errors here. Any questions, comments, or concerns can be addressed to the email provided. Thank you.
